Editorial & linking policy.
This site's only asset is trust. This policy sets out how we decide what to publish, how we link, and how advertising is kept separate from editorial — so readers, other publishers, and search engines know exactly where they stand.
Editorial independence
All content decisions — which operators and venues we list, the licence statuses we assign, and how we describe the law — are made editorially, on the basis of primary sources. No operator can pay for inclusion, exclusion, ranking, a status change, or favourable coverage. We are not affiliated with the GRAI or any government body.
How we link
- Editorial links are earned, never sold. We link to regulators, primary legislation and operators because they help the reader — never because anyone paid for it.
- We do not sell links. We do not accept payment to place, or to pass search ranking value through, any link on this site.
- Licensed-operator listings carry no affiliate links. When we list a GRAI-licensed casino or bookmaker, the link to their site is a plain reference link — untracked, with no commission attached.
- Any commercial link, if ever used, is clearly marked. Should we ever run a sponsored placement, it will be visibly labelled and use
rel="sponsored", in line with search-engine guidelines — kept entirely separate from editorial content.
Advertising
This site is funded by third-party display advertising (such as Google AdSense). Advertising is served in clearly delineated ad slots and has no influence on editorial content or directory listings. Sourcing & corrections
Regulatory claims are sourced from primary materials — the Irish Statute Book, the GRAI, the ORNL, the IHRB/HRI, and gov.ie. Licence statuses are verified against the regulator's own register before publication; where we're uncertain, we say so and mark the item pending. Spotted an error? Email editor@irishecasino.com and we'll correct it promptly.
Responsible-gambling commitment
Every page carries an 18+ notice and routes readers to free, confidential support. We don't publish betting tips, "systems", or promotional bonus content, and we don't glamorise gambling. Our job is to explain the rules, not to sell the activity.
